This winter 7ucky Vita shot his 10th music video, Flakes, with director and filmmaker Julie Snyder. The concept of course was simple: SIMULATION. 7ucky's favorite topic of conversation and fresh off his debut Sagittarius EP (December 2019). 7ucky asked his friend Julie what song from the EP would she want to make a music video for most. Flakes. In typical skeleton crew fashion (COVID-19 times) Julie, 7ucky, and guest star Phebe Jones (hand model) made a music video for the times.

Flakes is based on a time in 7ucky's life where he was endlessly finding himself in fair-weathered friendships and at the end of the day the question was always, "Who's real?!"

4 minutes of simulation bliss, welcome to the world of Flakes.

AMERICANO DREAMS

"Our white complacency is the zombie apocalypse. White privilege in America truly knows no bounds if it does not personally effect your life you turn this blind eye. We must do better and actively fight racism and bigotry even in its smallest incarnation. This song is about America's lack of humanity and lack of any sense of responsibility for the actions we commit against our BIPOC brothers and sisters. Not one of us as a white person has any excuse to allow all the madness to continue. Educate yourself, give back to your BIPOC communities, and do better.  BLACK LIVES MATTER!" - 7ucky Vita

From Joey Broyles to 7ucky Vita

As some of you may know I've been identifying with the nickname Lucky since my last record was released in 2016, "Lucky Superstar." As I've traveled from one side of the country and back I’ve come to a cross roads with the name and artist Joey Broyles. Moving forward I will be changing my name legally and my stage name as well to 7ucky Vita. 7ucky Vita has become such a part of who I am and who I resonate with. I understand it will take time to get used to my new name, but please know this change makes me happy. I’m still the same artist just with a new name.

The decision to rebrand from Joey Broyles to 7ucky Vita has left me feeling more positive and inspired by upcoming projects as well as continuing the evolution of who I am.
